HO Scale (1:87) Rix 29’ Peak Top Water/Oil Tank

The Rix Water and Oil Tank are designed to represent riveted steel tanks that the railroad started building back in 1880 during the steam era. Today tanks similar to these are being used to hold water and chemicals. The Rix Water sand Oil Tank is made up of 6 band segments which forma complete band. The bands are then stacked one on top of another until they reach the given height. Kits include enough band segments to produce a 29, 43 or 60 foot tall by 24-foot diameter tank. Two styles of tanks are offered, flat or a peaked top. All tanks are molded in black polystyrene.
